Just a very short entry, because atm i am busy as hell. Because next week there are 2 major tests, I have to give up a collection of drawings (meaning i should be drawing 24/7 because i was so lazy the last semestre), doing hardmodes is a tough job and on top of that i "have to" level my cute little druid. She is going to tank... BADASS! Just dinged 50. (yeah i should post a screen, but i don't have the time. My wish for Dingblog 2.0: Direct image upload instead of linking crap from imageshack... etc).
The main reason is the video below. Actually you should shoot yourself if you watch a 50 Cent video, BUT this one is worth 2 watch. Well in fact the 50seconds from the beginning are kewl and the rest is pure shit (obviously because the music starts).
the freezed scene and the camera moving through it until it hits the climax and the video begins, and the switch from a TV screen "into" the video were good, BUT it's really, really, REALLY lame to take the whole "evil joker" thing from batman 2. Very very uninspiring.Hopefully blizzard isn't doing the same shit... oh wait:

A lot has happened in the time since my last blog. My old raid has died (Zero Tolerance) and I applied to a guild on my old server EU-Blackhand. Actually i missed my old server all the time, because there were so many nice people from my old guild "chaos project" and WoW is not all about raiding but also about friendships and having fun together on teamspeak or spamming your private ingame channels :)
SO: i applied to "hostile" which is the best horde guild on the server and they were looking for rogues! I wrote my apply and got invited for a TS chat. Everything worked out fine and i transferred my rogue back to blackhand (home sweet home). It was very very strange because when i started playing WoW Hostile were like the "gods" and i always tried to imagine what it's like to raid with them :) typical fanboy-syndrome i guess xD And soon i realized they are mortals like everyone xD we wiped at trash and people were joking around :) i am really happy to raid again and also did naxx 10man with my priest and some people from chaos project. lots of fun! i just love being back on blackhand :)
and i finally killed yoggi! yeiy. time for hardmodes <3
BUT: This is my small video blog, so i have found this wonderful Video :)
Unfortuanetly it's in German. It's simply about "the wonderful world" and soooooo positive :) probably too much and i can understand if people say: what a homo. BUT! nontheless i love the video :) the carebears and the disney szenes... reminds me of my childhood. And there is this interesting effect that the singer gets "twisted". they don't cut between the different gestures but "flip" or "twist" the picture. Oh and and also interesting: at 2:37 the backround shows "bad things" but also the "black stripes" that are typical for 16:9 format are doubled and and appear also in the background. Probably my english skills are not good enough to express what i mean but i like the idea of different "spaces" that overlay and interfere.
so just wanted to throw this stuff in before i forget it. Have a nice day and hopefully i find another interesting video soon...

Bought some epixx from the AH, did sartharion PUG and 2 heroics and just can't wait for naxx xD It's just so much fun to be a gimp again! To learn a spec, to have mana, to cast stuff :) I know my rogue inside out and i got the feeling i know almost everything i need, but with my lovely priest i am 100% n00b. And it's so much fun. Doing heroics and trying to keep 1.8k dps xD Fucking love it.
Anyway i also found this lovely blog http://ignition.dingblog.com . Respect! BUT i have to disagree about the "wipe-resistance". I think the average raid did't loose it in naxx. It's a result of the high expectations and the fast overall progression. Top guilds cleared Ulduar in the first ID. Semi-hardcore guilds in 2 or 3 ID's and hearing that ulduar is just a step above naxx, everybody thought you could smack yogg in no time. In naxx there were perfect guides and strats avaible. First ID's Ulduar you just had some clues like: Oh ignis has some adds... he has these abilities... bla bla bla, but nothing perfect that you just had to read and execute. By now everything is detailed explained and everybody should be able to kill yogg after watching kyth's video guides...
If the whole progress would be as slow as in Vanilla and BC (1 boss in one or two weeks) it wouldn't matter if you spend one night wiping at [insert random boss]. But you see other guilds passing by and got the expectation to have a fast progress, so it's not a miracle that people a less "wipe-resistant".

Yeiy! after reading all the different depressing blogs, and realizing that this saturday sucked big time, because WoW was so fucking boring and wasting almost the whole day with dailies, twinking, listening to music and surfing dingblog, elitist jerks and mmo-champion in a constant circle, i decided to watch "Ghost in the shell".

I could tell you about all the server probs, our 25man leviathan kill or funny "im still in combat-lol" bugs. BUT actually i gotta admit, that yesterday i realized how challenging pve can be and how simply and retarded in comparison the "casual" raiding process is.
Unfortunately we did absolutely no ptr raids. We were absolutely clueless and after doing flame leviathan (easy like said 1k times before) we tried ignis. Knowing the abilities of a boss doesn't mean you got a strat. Even without the slag pot bug, we had like no plan how to manage the adds. We didn't know where to tank ignis. All this sounds so trivial but i am right now realizing how retarded my game experience untill know was.
You go to a boss, you read the strat, you learn how to move/act in the fight and BÄMM you got a kill.
but what do you do if there is no strat? if you don't know where to tank? if you don't know how to tank/kite the adds. should they be grounded? slowed by a totem? icelance? It is really a fucking joke. We will shortly get all the strats from stratfu, wowwiki etc... and then? feel imba again?
actually an eye opener. I started BC and i went karazhan it was already cleared and you could read every strat. Since then there was always a guide because my raid was a tier behind the high end content. I just gotta admit, that Ulduar is indeed pretty hard if you don't know everything before... except XT-Destructor and razorscale because they are really easy on normal mode...
just my thoughts on first ID ulduar...

Actually i gotta admit, that i wasn't a good looking troll since the beginning. I started to play WoW seriously with the release of BC. And i chose a bloodelf. a male. a goddamn BE male rogue on Blackhand. I gimped in kara, learned to play in gruul/ssc/tk and just owned in BT/MH and SW! BUT i always envied the trolls for their imba berserk-racial and their wonderful look. And after leveling my only seriouse alt "Odyss" (a troll priest) to 70 i just decided to reroll with the expansion!

but i always hated the fact that i lost all the dungeon rep and my netherwing drake! so last week i was Suuuuuper happy to finally get my netherwing drake back! <3 in wotlk there a hundreds of drakes but THIS one was your first so i guess everybody loves his netherwing in some sort of way. especially after all the annoying dailies you had to complete -.-

FUCK IMMORTAL! i hate the goddamn achievement. EVERY FUCKING WEEK! full concentration for 3 hours and EVERYTIME a dumbass fails, because he didn't learn to play a melee! Especially RETRI-Retardins! we got 3 rets and everysingle one fucked up an immortal run. 3 rets=3 times fail. GOD i am sooooo pissed. What's so hard in avoiding fucking void zones on KT? what???!!!

saw it today at the movies. nais narrative structure, nais cut, nais shots but cheesy ending. actually i gotta go to bed because i will loose an hour because of the time switch. next time i will write a more interesting entry, but anyway... have a short night!
what a ridicilouse evening! i log on and my dear guildofficer whispers me: "friday/saturday s3d 10man!" i think: great. But 10 sec later i get an invite. Thinking:"Hmm one hour left until i gotta go off to watch 96 hours with my lovely gf at the movies...anyway" 10mins later we start clearing the trash. 20mins later we pull (first try)... about 10mins later i'm officially "ILIATZ THE NIGHTFALL". I gotta say, that 4 or 5 people had already the achievment but it's nais to say how easy WoW can be, if everybody stands out of the void and is doing his fucking job^^
